Things To Do In Budapest

Last March, my boyfriend and I went to Budapest for a weekend. It was beautiful and really inexpensive. We went to a few great places so I thought I’d write a blog post about the top 3 places we visited in Budapest to give you all some travel inspiration.

Szechenyi Baths

These are the classic baths to visit in Budapest. They did not disappoint. We opted for a VIP experience, and I would suggest you do the same. For about 40 pounds, you get an hour massage, unlimited detox drinks, fruit and your own personal robes for the day. The spa itself is beautiful and relaxing, particularly the outside pool.

Parliament

This building is incredible. We visited it at night and it was breath-taking as they had lit up the entire building. Best of all, this is free to visit and super central.

Zugliget

This is a hidden treasure. You take a chairlift up a hill to a gorgeous castle. Although you are going to see the castle, the best bit is definitely the lift up there. You get amazing views over the whole of Budapest. There is also a free children’s play area and a café, if you have little ones.

If you’ve visited Budapest before, let me know what your favourite places to go are!
